What is Microblading?
Microblading is a semi-permanent cosmetic tattoo. It’s very natural looking because of the technique used. Instead of a solid block of color on the eyebrow, microblading creates hair-like strokes which mimic natural hair. This pigment or ink is placed into the skin with a hand-help, non-motorized tool. The result is a natural looking, defined brow. Microblading is semi-permanent because the pigment is not placed as deep into the skin like a traditional tattoo. For optimal results, an initial and a touch-up session should be done. The touch-up session must be completed within 4-6 weeks after the initial session.

Does microblading hurt?
The level of discomfort varies per person. Everyone is different. An over the counter numbing cream is used to minimize discomfort. When I microblading my eyebrows, I thought it felt like paper cuts, it burned more than it hurt. It wasn’t horrible, but was not pleasant. In my opinion, it was minor and well worth the discomfort to get the brows I’ve always wanted!

How long does it last?
The results of microblading vary per person as well. This is because everyone has different skin types and different lifestyles. Factors like sweating, sun exposure, wind exposure, oiliness, medication, and other characteristics all have an impact on the final result. On average clients report that their microblading lasted 6-36 months.

Why semi-permanent?
Many ask why they should spend the money to have a procedure that is not permanent. This is an excellent question. Since our faces are constantly moving so is our skin. The fact that microblading is semi-permanent allows adjustments over time to ensure that your eyebrows are always in a desirable and natural position.

How much does it cost?
The cost is $300 - 500 which includes the initial session and a touch-up session.
